About the illustrators
This year, we have worked with local artists asking them to create a visual response to the question “what gift would you like to give the earth this year?”
Erica Boucher is a Melbourne-based illustrator and designer. She works primarily with hospitality and creative clients and has a keen interest in doing work for the not-for-profit and community sector.
Her favourite things to illustrate are food & nature. She has a lifelong obsession with dogs, closely followed by a love of wine & cheese.
Andrea Innocent is an illustrator and character designer working in the Dandenong Ranges who works with both traditional and digital media to create emotive characters and illustrations to inspire dialogue about the tragedy and humour of everyday life. Her images explore ideas and stories as various as Japanese folklore, woman’s rights, children saving the world, the power and awe of the natural world and the animals reside in it.
Anna Ladecka is a Paris-based polish illustrator and painter. Graduated from Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts and obtained a scholarship of French Government at L’Ecole Supérieure d’art & de design Marseille-Méditerranée.
Her wide range of work covers illustrations for various surfaces including books, textiles, covers and magazines.
Carla McRae is an artist and illustrator based in Melbourne. Her drawings pull together a blank space with clean lines, geometric shapes and strong colour. Always working to create clear, simplistic and honest images, Carla’s work depicts open narratives inspired by the beauty of everyday moments, small gestures and simple pleasures. From editorial, publishing, branding and apparel to large-scale mural projects and teaching programs, Carla has worked and collaborated with notable clients around the world. She is represented commercially by The Jacky Winter Group.
