Nurturing literacy with Rosalie Martin

Join us for a special morning tea presentation about literacy development in young people with speech pathologist and 2017 Tasmanian of the Year, Rosalie Martin.

Rosalie will share her insights from more than three decades working with young people and people with impaired communication and literacy. She will explore the role of kindness in literacy development, why speech pathologists and teacher’s should love each other’s skills, the importance of relational trust in schools and other workplaces, and what playfulness brings to human interaction.

This event is specifically tailored to teachers, educators and people working with speech and literacy, but anyone interested in the topic is welcome.
